The design shows an encounter Josh had when he was a part of a scientific expedition off the west coast of Vancouver island. They saw a salmon shark lunging at a piece of barnacle encrusted driftwood, in an attempt to dislodge harmful parasites to increase its survivability on its great migration across the pacific. This observation was documented as a part of a scientific article and this artwork was Joshua's contribution.
